Kevin Stimpson, founder and principal, has more than 30 years of professional experience designing and managing a wide variety of residential, hospitality and retail projects that range in scale and complexity. He is a licensed architect in the state of Connecticut, New York, and Pennsylvania. Kevin is a member of the AIA, holds NCARB certification and is a LEED accredited professional.

Kevin began his career working with several noted architects, including Philip Johnson and John Burgee Architects. Project types were varied and often located internationally with frequent travel to China, Singapore, Istanbul, and India over several decades. Given his expertise in hotel design and development, Kevin worked at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide for over 12 years leading a studio team in the Architecture & Construction department. Projects spanned numerous brands including W Hotels, St. Regis, Le Meridien and the Luxury Collection with projects located in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Kevin’s extensive portfolio has included single family homes, residential renovations, multi-family housing, hotels, restaurants, offices, and retail. With Kevin’s background in the hospitality segment, he has been very successful in interpreting trends in the hotel industry into his residential projects. Kevin has long been an advocate of sustainable architecture. His projects continue to minimize the negative impact of buildings on the environment through improved efficiency, appropriate material selections and energy conservation. The economic benefits often include long-term cost savings due to reduced energy and water consumption often in conjunction with SMART technology.

Kevin earned a Bachelor’s degree with Honors from McGill University in Montreal and a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
